What? I have a blog? Oh ya… It has been a crazy long time since I have written anything. I wish I could say I’ve been really busy, but honestly, my family got cable for the first time, so I’ve pretty much just been watching TV for the past month. However, here is a quick update on the few things that have actually been going on in my life.

Firstly, I turned 21. WOOHOO. It’s all great and stuff. I get hammered (do kids still use the word hammered?) all the time. Except I don’t. Though I do feel like there is nothing I can’t do, which makes me feel free… and old. I guess I still can’t rent a car till I’m 25 so there’s something to look forward to.

Secondly I went to the beach with Becky. It was great. We went to the outer banks in North Carolina. It was beautiful and the perfect temperature, and we had some excellent advetures.

Aaaand lastly I went to the lake with the fam. We hiked, and I ate my body weight in blueberries. Also we made friends with an owl.

This marriage proposal is freaking amazing. OMG. Her reaction is perfect too.

Speaking of marriage, I would love to have Ben Howard as my husband. His cover of Call Me Maybe is insane.

 

 

Two DIYs that I want to make asap. Sheer black maxi and an adorable summer satchel.

I’m getting super excited to move in with Lizzie in August! I cant wait to decorate the apartment all pretty and girly. Just like this.

All in all it’s been a happy little summer break of mine. I start school on Monday and I’m taking a creative writing workshop. Hopefully that means I will have some writing to post here. I’m going to try to reinstate friday favorites soon also so stick around for that. Sigh. The end of summer and it’s only May.
